It is a multipurpose shrub or small tree of significant importance because of its several industrial and medicinal uses. We use modernized technique & methodology for its crop cultivation. It is also found in almost all the State of India as a live fence. Gujarat, Rajasthan (Udaipur, Rajsmand, Pali, Karoli, Bhilwara, Sirohi and Bharatpur), Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu are the main states cultivating this crop.
